Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。

毎日を一生懸命に頑張る全ての女性が、オフの時間をより自分らしく、そしてより心地良く感じられるジュエリーを作りたいという想いでこのブランドを立ち上げました。

　Jlab(ジュラブ)というブランド名には、Jewelry(宝石)を生み出すLaboratory(研究室)という意味を込めています。

I launched this brand with the desire to create jewelry that would make all women who work hard every day feel more like themselves and more comfortable during their off-duty time.

The brand name Jlab has the meaning of a laboratory that produces jewelry.

Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？

日本の四季から着想を得たモチーフをデザインし、レジンとラメやカラージェルなどネイル用の素材を使って一から手作りしています。

淡水パールや天然石、ビーズも織り交ぜながら、アクセサリーに仕立てていきます。

I design motifs inspired by Japan's four seasons, and handcraft them from scratch using nail materials such as resin, glitter, and colored gel.

And I create accessories by interweaving freshwater pearls, gemstones, and beads.

Q3. What Made You Interested In NY Market?
  　 ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？

世界のファッションが集まる場所であり、最新のファッションが生まれる場所でもあるニューヨーク。そこでJlabの作品がどう受け取られ、何を感じて頂けるか知りたいと思いました。

またＡＣＪの皆さんが、日本のこだわりが詰まっている作品をニューヨークの方にリアルに届けたいという熱意に感化されました。

New York is a place where fashion from all over the world gathers and where the latest fashion is born. I wanted to know how Jlab's work would be seen there and what people would feel.

I was also inspired by the enthusiasm of everyone at ACJ to deliver works that are full of Japanese commitment to the people of New York.

Q4.Which One Is Your Favorite Piece? And Why?
イチオシはどの商品ですか？又その理由は？

キャンドルの揺らめく炎から着想を得たイヤーアクセサリーです。炎の揺らぎのリズムは、人の鼓動とよく似ていることからリラックス効果があると言われています。クリアなレジンパーツの中にその優しく揺らめく炎を描き、淡水パールとグラスビーズを添えて、冬のイルミネーションのようなデザインに仕上げました。ぜひゆったりと温かな気持ちでこの冬を過ごしていただきたいです。

The accessories are inspired by the flickering flame of a candle. The rhythm of the flickering flame is said to have a relaxing effect, as it closely resembles the human heartbeat. The gently flickering flame is drawn on clear resin parts, and freshwater pearls and glass beads are added to create a design that resembles a winter illumination. I hope you enjoy this winter with a relaxed and warm feeling.

興味を持って下さりありがとうございます。日本では今3000万人のハンドメイド作家がいると言われ、物づくりへの熱意は今も脈々と受け継がれています。その中でもＪｌａｂが作る作品は、忙しさに翻弄されるお母さん達が少しでもほっと安らぎ、自分らしさを取り戻すきっかけになるアクセサリーを作りたい、という想いでお作りしています。

Thank you for your interest. It is said that there are currently 30 million handmade craftspeople in Japan, and their passion for craftsmanship continues to be passed down to this day.
