Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
For the past 10 years, I have been creating art works using paper, but gradually the number of projects increased, and 4 years ago I established my own brand of paper-cut art, products, and window displays. I have been working with various brands and stores in Japan and abroad. The name of the brand has no particular meaning, but I tried to make it easy to remember for those who are new to my brand.
１０年前から紙を使ったアート作品を作っていましたが、徐々に仕事依頼が増え、４年前にペーパーカットを駆使したアート、プロダクトとウィンドウディスプレイを手掛けるブランドを設立しました。日本国内外の様々なブランド、ショップと仕事をしています。ブランド名には特に意味がありませんが、初めてブランドを知る方にもすぐ覚えやすいようにしました。
Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？
nekonekodesignPAPERARTS greeting cards and mobiles are made by first making a cutout from a drawing of a plant, designing the original pattern, and then laser cutting the design. I try to create delicate and light designs that can only be achieved by paper cutting.

Q3. What Made You Interested In NY Market?
ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？
I decided to join the event because I wanted many people to see our brand's products in New York, where all kinds of art and design from all over the world gather.
世界のあらゆるアートとデザインが集まるニューヨークで、当ブランドの商品をたくさんの人に見てもらいたいと思い、出展しました。
Q4. Which One Is Your Favorite Piece? And Why?
イチオシはどの商品ですか？又その理由は？
"Paper-cut greeting cards"
The brand's cards are designed not only to send messages, but also to be used as interior decorations after the messages are read. I have carefully calculated the delicacy and three-dimensionality of paper-cut cards, their shading, and colors. The message is written on the back of the card, and when the card is removed, a flapping bird appears.
