Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
I have loved making things since I was a child and studied sculpture at university. After graduating from college, I started my own brand after creating a "wearable sculpture." The brand name "NOMG" is a coined word from "Nap Of Morning (morning nap)," and was named with the hope that the people wearing my products will feel comfortable.
子供の頃から物づくりが好きで、大学では彫刻を学んでいました。大学卒業後「身に着ける彫刻」を制作した事がきっかけでブランドを始めました。ブランド名「NOMG」はNap Of Morning（朝のうたた寝）から作った造語で、着ける人に心地良さを感じて欲しいという想いで名付けました。
Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？
I often think about design while touching paper, clay, wire, etc. I explore the visual and wearing feeling of the garment by actually draping it along the body. I make everything by hand, including the production process, so I pay attention to the details and fine angles of the garment.
紙や粘土、針金などを触りながらデザインを考える事が多いです。実際に身体に沿わせながらヴィジュアルや着用感を探っていきます。制作も含め全て私自身がハンドメイドで制作しておりますので細かい角度やディティールを大切にしています。
Q3. What Made You Interested In NY Market?
ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？
I decided to participate in the event because I wanted many people to know about NOMG in New York, one of the best art and fashion cities in the world.
世界でも指折りのアートやファッションの街、ニューヨークで多くの方にNOMGの事を知って欲しいと思った事がきっかけです。

イチオシはどの商品ですか？又その理由は？

You can feel the playful spirit that is typical of NOMG and the delicacy and formative beauty that can only be achieved by handmade products.
