Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
In a place that had become a ghost town due to the earthquake and nuclear disaster, I saw the opportunity to set up a production base for a glass jewelry brand. The idea intrigued me, and I felt the need to take action. Over time, I became increasingly fascinated by glass as I engaged in the production of glass parts and product development for the brand. I had a dream of eventually becoming independent and establishing my own brand. The brand name is a coined word, a combination of my daughter's name and mine.
震災と原発で人口ゼロになった地元に、ガラスジュエリーブランドの生産拠点ができ、面白そう！自分も何か行動したい！という想いで、そこでずっとブランドのガラスパーツの生産をしたり商品開発をしガラスにどんどん魅了されていきました。いつか自分のブランドで独立したいという想いがありガラス職人になって7年目で独立できました。ブランド名は娘と私の名前を合わせた造語です。
Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？
I use lightweight yet strong borosilicate glass, melting each piece one by one in a high-temperature flame of about 2000°C using an oxygen burner. After shaping it with various tools, I slowly cool it down in an electric furnace to complete the process.
軽くて強度のあるボロシリケイトガラスを、酸素バーナーを使い2000℃程の高温の炎で1つ1つ溶かし、様々な道具を使って形成した後、電気炉に入れてゆっくり冷まして完成です。

ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？
New York is an epitome of the world's cutting-edge, filled with inspiration, diversity, freedom, and vibrancy. It's a city I've admired since childhood. When I was offered the opportunity to showcase my work in New York, I was overjoyed at the prospect of having New Yorkers appreciate my creations. I couldn't resist the chance to participate.

My favorite piece is the Glass Chain series, which perfectly conveys the opulence of glass. Connecting each glass piece showcases the delicate intricacy and the high clarity of transparent beauty unique to glass.
