ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
I was already working at a jewelry company in my previous job, so gemstones were a familiar presence to me. While working on jewelry designs, I felt a desire to create something unique that only a personal artist could achieve. I started using gemstones as the primary material and combined them with various other elements, creating seasonal series inspired by the occasional spark of inspiration. The brand name is derived from the spelling of my name, signifying it as my chosen form of personal expression.
前職でもアクサセリー会社に勤めていたので天然石は身近な存在でした。デザインに携わる中で、個人の作家だからこそできるものを作りたいと始めたことがきっかけです。天然石を中心に様々な素材と組み合わせながら、その時折インスピレーションを受けたものを季節ごとにシリーズ展開しています。ブランド名は私の名前のスペルから取り、自身の表現の形としてつけました。
Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？
For items featuring gemstones, I choose the stones based on inspiration from various sources such as the background of paintings, the life story of the artist, or the emotions conveyed in the artwork itself. To evoke the atmosphere of the canvas, I print each painting onto fabric, carefully processing it to achieve a matte texture and a three-dimensional effect. Although the paintings I use are in the public domain, I put considerable effort into refining the design, ensuring that it encapsulates the essence of the painting within the circular frame.
天然石が付いているものは、絵画の背景や作家の生い立ち、絵画そのものから感じるインスピレーションなどで組み合わせる石を決めています。キャンバスの雰囲気を出すために布に一枚一枚絵画を刷って、マットな質感と立体的な丸みが出るように加工しています。パブリックドメインになっている名画ではありますが、絵画の雰囲気を大切に四角い絵画を丸い枠内に納めるにはどうすればいいか何回も試作を繰り返しながら、最終デザインまで落とし込みます。

ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？
I've always had aspirations of expanding my artistic activities internationally. When I had the opportunity to participate this time, I contemplated which series to present. I was particularly curious about how my painting series would be perceived in New York, a city known for its artistic landmarks.
作家活動をしている中で海外進出は憧れでもありました。今回ありがたいことにお声かけいただいて、参加するならどのシリーズをお持ちするか考えた時に、アートの名所が集まるニューヨークで絵画シリーズはどう見られるのか興味がありました。
Q4.Which One Is Your Favorite Piece? And Why?
イチオシはどの商品ですか？又その理由は？
My favorite piece is the one inspired by Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night," which is housed in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. To emphasize both the cypress tree and the crescent moon, I created an asymmetrical design by separating them into two parts. In the version with gemstones, I used pearl beads to replicate the undulating patterns. I hope people will enjoy comparing the actual piece to the painting itself.
ニューヨーク近代美術館に所蔵されているゴッホの「星月夜」をモチーフにしたアクセサリーです。糸杉と三日月どちらも目立たせたかったので2つに分けてアシンメトリーなデザインにしました。また天然石バージョンではうねりをパールの粒で表現しています。ぜひ現物と見比べて楽しんでいただきたいです。
