Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
Influenced by my grandfather, who was a tailor, I embarked on the journey of clothing creation. During my studies in design, I encountered the smocking technique, captivated by its ability to create diverse expressions from a single piece of fabric, depending on the pleating method and material.
As the brand's concept, I uphold "Embrace your uniqueness." Striving to warm the individuality of those who wear my creations in their daily lives, allowing them to shine even brighter. I craft garments that encompass both uniqueness and elegance, providing a fulfilling experience whether worn or admired.
The brand name is derived from my own name.

デザインの勉強をしているときに、スモッキングという技法に出会い、１枚の生地から摘み方や素材次第で、多様な表現が広がることに魅せられました。
ブランドのコンセプトとして、” Embrace your uniqueness.” を掲げています。日々の中で着る方の個をあたため、より輝けるように。ユニークさとエレガントさを兼ね備えた、長年着ても観ても心満たされる服を製作しています。
ブランド名は私の名前からきています。
Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？
I draw inspiration from everyday elements that seamlessly blend into our lives, often overlooked but reveal their beauty and charm upon closer inspection. During the production process, I create patterns, conduct mock-ups, ensuring overall balance, and making numerous adjustments.
Next, I craft samples of smocking, a distinctive feature of the brand. Considering the pleating technique, I draw lines on the fabric with chalk, delicately gathering the fabric with a needle and thread. Creating multiple patterns, I select the one that aligns most closely with the envisioned design.
Following this, I carefully cut and sew the pieces together.
日常の中に溶け込んでいる見過ごしてしまいそうだけど、よく見たら美しい、面白いなと思うものからインスピレーションを得てデザインしています。
製作時はパターンを引き、仮縫いをし、全体的にバランスをみて、何度も調整していきます。
次に、ブランドの特徴であるスモッキングのサンプルを作ります。摘み方を考え、生地にチャコで線を引き、針と糸で生地を少しずつ摘んでいきます。いくつものパターンを作り、1番イメージに近いデザインをピックアップします。
そのあと裁断し、丁寧に縫い合わせていきます。

ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？
Having previously explored the streets of New York, immersing myself in its culture and art, I envisioned returning with my own brand to showcase. Therefore, receiving this wonderful opportunity brings me great joy.
以前ニューヨークの街中を散策し、文化やアートを体感する中で、次ここに来る時は自分のブランドを見てもらうために来たいと考えていました。そのため、この素敵な機会を頂きとても嬉しかったです。
Q4.Which One Is Your Favorite Piece? And Why?
イチオシはどの商品ですか？又その理由は？
This piece was crafted with inspiration drawn from the Tanabata festival. Using smocking, I aimed to capture the shimmering flow of stars, while below the waist, I delicately layered elongated fabric to represent tanzaku (wish papers).
七夕からのインスピレーションで製作した作品です。スモッキングで煌めく星の流れを表現し、ウエストから下は細長い生地を少しずつ重ね、短冊を表現しました。
