Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
After learning about the traditional craft of Mino ware, "I want more people to know about tiles that are carefully crafted by artisans!" and I started making "Minitsuke-Tiles; wearable traditional crafts". The brand name "coco rouge" means that I want to deliver the feelings of excitements and butterflies in my stomach just like when I put on rouge for the first time.
伝統工芸品である「美濃焼」を知り、職人の手によって大切に作られるタイルを、もっとたくさんの方に知ってもらいたい！と思ったことがきっかけとなり、「身につけられる伝統工芸品」「ミニツケタイル」の制作を開始。ブランド名のcoco rougeには、初めてルージュをつけた時のようなトキメキ、ドキドキ感、そんな気持ちをココからお届けしたい、という意味を込めています。
Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？
Respecting the texture of Minoyaki tiles made by artisans, I incorporate various techniques such as bead embroidery, resin, and kintsugi-style processing to bring out the best of the tiles and create accessories.
職人の手によって作られる美濃焼タイルの風合いを大切にし、ビーズ刺繍、レジン、金継ぎ風加工など、様々な技法を取り入れ、タイルの良さを引き出してアクセサリーに仕上げていきます。
Q3. What Made You Interested In NY Market?
ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？
Since the beginning of the brand, one of my goals has been to communicate "Japan" to the world through "Minitsuke-Tiles; wearable traditional crafts." I feel that this pop-up is the best opportunity to make this happen.
ブランド設立時から、「ミニツケタイル」で「日本」を世界に発信することを目標としていました。今回のPOPUPは最高のきっかけだと感じています。
Q4.Which One Is Your Favorite Piece? And Why?
イチオシはどの商品ですか？又その理由は？
“Earring that combines round Minoyaki tiles with sequin embroidery”
This is one of my favorite items. The design looks like a flower blooming, attracting the eye and making your ears look gorgeous. The color and material of the sequins can also give you a different and fashionable look.
“丸い美濃焼タイルにスパンコール刺繍を合わせた耳飾り”
まるでお花が咲いたようなこちらのデザインは、ぱっと目を惹き、耳元から華やかにしてくれます。スパンコールの色や素材で人とは違うお洒落を楽しみこともできます。

This is my first time to participate in this event. I create "Minitsuke-Tiles," which are accessories made of tiles using the traditional Japanese craft "Mino-Yaki" tiles. I put my heart and soul into creating accessories that will bring smiles, excitement, and a little surprise to you as well as adding colors to everyday life. Thank you!
今回初めて参加させていただきます。日本の伝統工芸品「美濃焼」のタイルを使ったアクセサリー「ミニツケタイル」を制作しています。日常に彩りを添え、「これタイルなんだって！」と笑顔と感動と、少しの驚きをお届けできるような、そんなアクセサリーになれるよう心を込めて制作しています。どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
