Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
It all started with a workshop experience at a glassworks on our wedding anniversary. "Aua" is the meow of my beloved cat, and she says "Aua, aua!" when she ate her meal and tells me "it was delicious!"
結婚記念日に工房でガラス細工体験をしたことがきっかけです。 あぅあ。は愛猫の鳴き声で、彼女はご飯を食べると「あぅあ！あぅあ！」と鳴いて美味しかったー！と伝えてくれるのです。
Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？
We draw alcohol ink art with a small brush on acrylics ordered after making the data. All the work is hand-painted and one-of-a-kind. Then, the painting is coated with an art medium, such as resin or medium, to give it texture.
データを作って発注したアクリルに、小さな筆でアルコールインクアートを描きます。 すべて手描きの一点物です。 その後レジンやメディウムといった画材でコーティングをして質感を出します。
Q3. What Made You Interested In NY Market?
ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？
We want to step up myself as an artist, not just a handmade creator. We would like to know the reactions overseas and create works that people would find attractive not only in the domestic market but also in the global market.
ハンドメイド作家ではなくアーティストとして自身をステップアップさせたい。 海外での反応を知り、国内だけでなく海外でも通じる作品作りを行いたいと思っております。
Q4.Which One Is Your Favorite Piece? And Why?
イチオシはどの商品ですか？又その理由は？
We would like you to see all of them, but the drop-shaped works named "香-Kou-" is a representative work. In addition, we are challenging various expressions such as "刻-Toki-" ( which means "time"), portraying moonlit nights and changing skies, and the "Dahlia" series, depicting a large flower. We also recommend the "Iron" series, which uses iron parts made by craftsmen in Kyoto. These are also made by hand without using any machines.
どれも見て頂きたいが、しずく型の作品『香-Kou-』は代表作です。月夜や空の移り変わりを描いた『刻-Toki-』（意味は時間）、大輪の花を描いた『Dahlia』シリーズなど、さまざまな表現に挑戦しています。 また、京都の職人に作っていただいたアイアンパーツを用いたアイアンシリーズも。こちらも一切機械を使用せず手作業で造られています。
