ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
I started making accessories by creating them from DIY and interior decor items. The brand name "yae." means "overlap" in Japanese. It represents how yae.’s accessories are created by layering various colors and materials and also symbolizes the connections between people.
DIYやインテリア雑貨を制作しており、その中で出来上がった雑貨を使用してアクセサリーを制作したら可愛いものができるのではと思いアクセサリーを作り始めました。ブランド名のyae.は日本語で【八重】重なりという意味です。yae.のアクセサリーは様々な色や素材が重なり合って出来上がっていることと、人と人のご縁を重ねるという意味も含まれています。
Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？
I handcraft each piece individually using a variety of materials, primarily resin and clay. While I start with a basic design, the creative process involves layering colors and making spontaneous adjustments based on my intuition.
全ての作品パーツよりひとつひとつ手作業で制作しています。主に使用している素材はレジンとクレイ。最初にある程度のデザインを考えますが、実際に手を動かしながら色を重ねたり、足したり引いたりその場の感覚で制作しています。

ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？
I wanted to challenge myself by introducing my designs and creations to the cutting-edge fashion scene in New York and see how they resonate with the people there.
自分がデザイン、制作するものが海を越え、流行の最先端であるニューヨークの方々にどのように感じていただけるのか挑戦してみたいと思ったからです。

Since I create each piece from scratch, the colors and shapes vary from one to another. That's why I recommend all of them; they are one-of-a-kind creations.
