Q1. What Made You Decide To Establish Your Own Brand? What Is Meaning Of Brand Name?
ブランド設立のきっかけは何ですか？また、ブランド名の意味を教えてください。
Kinjyo Rubber Co., Ltd. has been in business for over 85 years and is a B2B company that supplies rubber parts to major Japanese manufacturers. Kinjyo Rubber Co., Ltd. is one of the companies that support Japanese manufacturing, including the production of swimming caps used by Olympic athletes and rubber packing for rice cookers, which is used in approximately 50% of rice cookers in Japan, but is not well known. Therefore, we established the brand out of a desire to express our technology in a visible form. In order to transmit our technology from Japan to the world, we added "JAPAN" to the company name "KINJO" and named the brand "KINJO JAPAN".
創業85年以上の歴史をもつ錦城護謨株式会社は日本国内の大手メーカー等にゴム部品をおさめるBtoB企業であり、オリンピック選手が使用するスイミングキャップの製造や炊飯器のゴムパッキンは国内の炊飯器に50％近く使用されるなど日本のものづくりを下支えしている企業の一つではあるものの、その存在は殆ど知られていない。自分達の技術を見える形で表現したいという想いからブランドを設立。日本から世界へ向けて自分達の技術を発信するため社名の「KINJO」に「JAPAN」をつけ、ブランド名を「KINJO JAPAN」とした。
Q2. Please Describe Your Production Process.
商品はどのような工程を経て出来上がるのでしょうか？
After creating a mock-up using a 3D printer and checking the modeling, the mold is manufactured. Manufacturing trials are conducted many times, and we make minor modifications to the molds. After determining the manufacturing conditions, we start production of the finished product.
３Dプリンターでモックを作成し造形チェック後、金型を製作、製造トライアルを何度も実施し金型微修正、製造条件を決定した後に完成品の製造を開始します。

ニューヨーク市場に興味を持った理由は何ですか？
In one of the world's leading cities where highly sensitive people gather from all over the world, can we deliver surprise and excitement with something made by a small Japanese company? Can we challenge from the local to the global? Can we get people interested in the local market from the global market? We thought that there was no better place than New York to confirm this.
